About Costa Rica Expedition Tours

My name is Carlos Rodríguez, a Costa Rican tourism professional with over a decade of experience in the industry.

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, and since 2010 I have dedicated my career to helping travelers discover the very best of my country.

I began my journey in the Tamarindo area, at the Westin Playa Conchal, working as a certified naturalist guide and gaining hands-on experience at some of Costa Rica’s most iconic destinations, including Arenal Volcano and Monteverde. After several years in guiding, I transitioned into tour sales, representing well-known hotels including Secrets, Dreams Las Mareas, Four Seasons, and Planet Hollywood.

Today, my wife Andrea and I operate our own family-run tour business, personally organizing and supervising each experience. Our focus is simple: professional service, local knowledge, and unforgettable adventures—from volcanoes and rainforest tours to private boat trips and fishing experiences.

Costa Rica is not just our workplace; it’s our home. We take pride in sharing it with our guests in a responsible, authentic, and memorable way.
